Our Program
CTTMA is excited to announce Professor Emeritus Edward I. Altman, (bio) as the Keynote Speaker
for our Annual Fall Leadership Program. Dr. Altman will be discussing the current conditions in the credit markets in addition to the 50 year evolution & application of the Altman family of Z-Score models. Invented by Dr. Altman, the Z-Score is a financial model that predicts the likelihood of a company going into bankruptcy. In addition, he will address specific issues facing Connecticut's troubled cities' bond ratings and applying the Z-Score to potential municipal defaults.

Dr. Altman is a world recognized and highly sought after lecturer on all matters of distressed debt, its probability and predictive modeling. His article, The Anatomy of Investing in Defaulted Bonds & Loans is the lead article in the July/August issue of our very own Journal of Corporate Renewal, (JCR).
