Every year, the TMA Global Chair is given the privilege of recognizing one or more TMA members who raise the public profile of the corporate restructuring industry through their volunteer service and dedication to TMA.

The 2022 TMA Chair’s Award recipient was Allen Kadish, Archer & Greiner, P.C. Kadish has more than 35 years of experience in the restructuring industry and has been an active member of TMA for 18 years. Among those years he has served as President and Chair of the TMA New York City Chapter, Global Trustee of TMA and member of the TMA Marketing and Communications Council. Kadish has become a very influential member of TMA for many reasons. Kadish played an integral role in helping the TMA community become the champion for diversity that it is today. He and TMA Global CEO Scott Stuart also were part of a small group that launched WorkOUT in 2009. This networking group was the beginning of LGBT professionals organizing in the restructuring industry when LGBT professionals had moved in small circles and were hesitant to organize openly.

Kadish is a shining example of “walking the walk” when it comes to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I). Not only has he been a vocal leader when it comes to advocating for progress, Kadish has truly embodied what it means to bring your whole authentic self to work.

The TMA Chair's Award was presented to Kadish by 2022 TMA Global Chair, Matthew English, CTP, Arch + Beam, who said, "Kadish embodies the bold, innovative leader we all strive to become, all while remaining kind, humble and brilliant."
