Download the official mobile app for all TMA Global events. Navigate the conference like a pro by downloading the conference app. The conference app is where you’ll find session and networking event locations, attendee information, the conference agenda, and much more!

This mobile app allows you to:

• Curate a personal schedule to navigate events easily.

• Access conference event locations and speaker information at your fingertips.

• Expand your professional network.

Features of the App:

• A quick way to share photos, comments, and which session you’re attending

• Agenda: View the full agenda and related information (session times, locations, speaker info, and more)

• Attendees: See who else is attending the event and send messages via the app

How to Log into the App

Once you have downloaded the app, could you login to it using the? instructions at the links below

Getting Started

To log in, you will need to have access to your email from your mobile device

Next, Choose ‘Account’ from the menu. On iPhone, the menu appears at the bottom or top of the screen. On Android, the menu can be accessed from the three lines in the top left-hand corner of the screen.

Enter the email address that you used to register for the TMA Conference and click the ‘Send Link’ button.

On your first time logging into the app, it won't recognize your email address until you validate it. You will be asked to enter your first and last name as in the screen below and click 'Send Link.' On future log-ins to the app, you will skip this step.

You will then be directed to access your email account from your device.

You will receive an email from TMA titled: ‘Log in to 2023 TMA Annual Conference’. 

Open the email from your device and click the ‘Log in Now’ button.

That's it, you’re all set! 

Supported Devices

iOS Devices

  • It must be running iOS 15.0 or later. This applies to both iPad and iPhone

Android Devices

  • It must be running Android 6.0 and up.

 

Update Your Profile



 

1. Tap “more”

2.Tap the arrow by your name

3. To update profile information, Tap the arrow beside “Profile Information”

4. To add your social networking information, Tap the arrow beside “Social Networks”

5. Tap “edit” to make changes and “done” when complete

6. Tap the arrow beside the social network you wish to add

 

Mobile App Session Reminders and Notifications

You can receive session reminders through the app directly through the app:

Session notifications are enabled by default and appear 10 ~ 15 minutes before the session start time. To receive alerts, users should:

  • Give permission to the app to send notifications when prompted
  • Sign in to the event with their Eventsential/Engagefully user account
  • Select sessions on the event schedule (Please see the article “How to Build a Personalized Schedule” for more information)

 

If you wish to disable/enable session reminders, you can do that by:

  1. Selecting the user profile within the event they wish to disable reminders 
  2. Navigate to Event Preferences and select "Manage"
  3. Scroll down and toggle the "Upcoming session reminders" button to disable/enable

 

Digital Business Card Exchange 

Attendees of events can quickly and safely exchange digital business cards with each other by scanning QR codes on their mobile app.

The digital business card information, such as name, email address, job title, organization, phone number, and website, comes from the user's Profile Information. To fully utilize the feature, please fill out the My Profile - Profile Information section of the app (see above).

Tap the QR Scanner icon in the bottom right corner of the app screen.

 

Tapping on the icon will open the scanner tool.

Tapping on the QR code on the bottom will enlarge it. Both users must initiate a card exchange from the scan button on the event’s main menu.

To exchange a business card, one user points the scanner at the other user's QR code. 

Once the scanning user has the bar code data, the app will prompt that user to add a quick note. 

All business cards collected by an attendee are available in their Registrant Bag.

Note:

  • Business card data is immutable: it is a snapshot of the state of a user’s account at the moment of exchange and will not be updated if that user’s profile subsequently changes
  • Users may delete a card they have collected from their bag but may not “take back” a card they have given to another user
  • During a digital business card exchange, the attendee being scanned will receive a push notification confirming a successful swap (The 'scanner' or the individual doing the scanning should see the exchanged card appear in their Registrant Bag immediately)

In some cases, such as when the device has network connectivity issues, the scan may not appear in the Registrant Bag immediately. A push-notification will appear stating that the upload has "Failed", and that the unsuccessful scans should sync once the issue has been resolved (e.g. the device regains internet connection)

 

Create Your Personal Schedule 

To begin building your schedule, tap on 'Schedule' in the menu to preview the conference sessions, then select your preferences by tapping the schedule icon to the left of each session.

Your personalized schedule appears when you tap the 'Selected' button at the top of the screen.
