Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
Their co-hosted event, “Diversity and Inclusion Matters: A Bold Path Forward for Restructuring Professionals” in February 2021, co-hosted with TMA New York City provided attendees with an overview of culture, representation, inclusion, development, and education of DE&I before engaging them in breakout networking groups, providing questions and topics for discussion.
International Chapter Excellence
TMA Romania has been one of TMA’s most engaged international chapters with their excellence in standards and participation in TMA Global and TMA Europe. Their many premier events are transforming the Romania Chapter into a regional hub attracting experts and professionals in the turnaround/restructuring in the Southeastern European region.
North American Chapter Excellence
TMA Chicago/Midwest's unparalleled success with membership growth, sponsorship, and contributions to TMA is a model for all chapters. Their engagement and innovation with the cross-chapter events during COVID-19 and quarantine has raised the bar of excellence to a new high. Their increased events during 2020 included thirty-six "Member Power Hours," co-hosted with a variety of chapters, among countless other premier events that have increased their already high visibility in TMA.
Most Innovative Program
"TMA Fit Exercise Challenge" was a creative and innovative program to engage members during the difficult time of the COVID-19 quarantine of January of 2021. Following the month-long exercise challenge, TMA Toronto hosted a virtual awards ceremony that recognized participants with awards for various milestones in the challenge. The overwhelming participation from almost one hundred participants from more than six different chapters was one of the most engaging and clever events in TMA history.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Award
The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Award recognizes one chapter, regardless of size, for extraordinary work done to advance TMA’s efforts to improve diversity, equity and inclusion among our membership by improving representation among young professionals, women, people of color, or other underrepresented professionals.
International Chapter Excellence Award
The International Chapter Award recognizes one chapter that has excelled at the implementation of forward-thinking ideas, innovation, creativity, member value, and engagement within the global TMA community, either within the chapter itself or by partnering with another chapter or TMA program to add member value
North American Chapter Excellence Award
The North American Chapter Award recognizes one chapter that has excelled at the implementation of forward-thinking ideas, innovation, creativity, member value, and engagement within the global TMA community, either within the chapter itself or by partnering with another chapter or TMA program to add member value.
Most Innovative Program Award
It starts out with an idea. That idea takes hold and before you know it, you have a successful program. The Most Innovative Program Award recognizes one chapter, regardless of size, that has executed a unique or innovative program or event during the year.
