CRO 101: Using the Tools

Chief Restructuring Officers ("CROs") use a variety of tools on a daily basis to restructure distressed businesses.  These tools include formal options under various bankruptcy and insolvency laws as well as informal solutions such as negotiation of creditor arrangements and strategic business planning. This webinar is focused on the application of the tools available to CROs in turning around or restructuring a business during the crisis stabilization phase. Discussion topics include the use of restructuring tools available under federal and state legislation, lender negotiation strategies and leverage and managing critical creditors among other relevant tools. Panel participants will provide color to these topics by illustrating these solutions through real life situations, explaining the basics of the tool available and providing an example of how the application of the tool affected the outcome of a particular engagement.

CRO 201: Executing the Operational Turnaround

Chief Restructuring Officers (“CROs”) need to have a versatile skill set to deal with the variety of issues encountered in turning around a distressed business. This webinar focuses on the softer management skills required in a turnaround during the execution phase. This webinar guides viewers through determining the best course(s) of action as well as executing an operational turnaround. Discussion topics include situation analysis, management team evaluation, corporate operations centralization and consolidation corporate operations, liquidity management, and cost reduction and revenue enhancement strategies. Panel participants draw on their varied, real world experience to illustrate these issues and provide relevant, pragmatic solutions.
