Meghan Juday, IDEAL Industries Chairman
Speaker, author, and family business and private company governance advocate Meghan Juday understands what helps family businesses thrive and survive and makes it her mission to share this know-how with the business community. The enthusiastic champion for family business draws on her experience as a fourth-generation leader and Chairman of the Board at IDEAL Industries, a 105-year-old family business in its fifth generation of ownership.
In addition to Meghan's contributions to the business community through speaking, moderating, and notable podcast contributor for McKinsey and NPR's Marketplace, she is also an accomplished author. Beyond her role as Chairman at IDEAL Industries, Meghan works as a consultant focused on family and corporate governance and served as the director of the family business center at St. Joseph's University. She is a founding member of the Private Directors Association-Philadelphia Chapter and founded The Lodis Forum, a peer group for private company female board chairs.
Lisa Vandesteeg, Levenfeld Pearlstein, LLC
Lisa Vandesteeg is a Partner in the Financial Services & Restructuring Group at Levenfeld Pearlstein. She focuses on identifying risk exposure and mitigating liability for clients, with a concentration in the areas of bankruptcy, creditors' rights, commercial litigation, and data security and privacy. She represents secured creditors, debtors, unsecured creditors, creditors' committees, landlords, and shareholders in bankruptcy courts throughout U.S, as well as representing clients in civil litigation in federal and state courts.
In addition to her robust legal practice, Lisa is also on the Board of Directors of Chicago Run, an organization that promotes the health and wellness of Chicago children through innovative, engaging, and sustainable youth running programs.

Requests for refunds must be made in writing no later than 48 hours prior to the date of the event (e-mail is acceptable). No cancellations will be accepted within 48 hours of the event. Substitutions are allowed and must be submitted in writing (e-mail is acceptable). The substitute must be from the same firm as the original registrant and, if the substitute is not a TMA Member, the difference in registration fee will be required. Please note that if you register for the event after the cancellation deadline has passed, you will not be eligible for a refund should you need to cancel your registration. The cancellation policy applies to all registrants regardless of when the registration is submitted. Registrants who fail to attend the event and do not provide written notice in accordance with these policies and deadlines are responsible for full payment.
