Rescheduled from February 27.

Many believe that New York will soon legalize recreational use marijuana, which is predicted to be a boon for farmers, small business owners, and manufacturers, as well as a welcome alternative to addictive opioids for those suffering from chronic pain and other illnesses.

However, because marijuana remains illegal on the federal level, state law legalization alone will not overcome numerous hurdles for cannabis businesses, including obstacles related to banking and finance, insolvency and restructuring, interstate commerce, and other federally regulated areas.

Join us to learn how professionals involved in the hemp and CBD industries handle the intricacies of current regulations and how they are preparing for the legalization of recreational use marijuana.

The panel will include:
   - Nhi Kha, Co-Founder at Sativa Remedy
   - Aleece Burgio, Special Counsel at Barclay Damon LLP
   - Daniel Casacci, Owner/Operator at Prism Hemp
   - Zach Sarkis, Founder and Executive Director at NY HempLab
   - Scott J. Bogucki, Esq., Partner at Gleichenhaus, Marchese & Weishaar, PC as moderator.
