UPDATED MASK REQUIREMENTS
In response to the Mayor's July 29 announcement regarding mask requirements in the District of Columbia, the National's Park Management is changing their face covering policy starting with their July 30, 2021 game.
All ticketed fans will be required to wear an approved face covering at all times when in an indoor area at Nationals Park, regardless of vaccination status, unless they are actively eating or drinking.
If you are entering any indoor space at Nationals Park (including but not limited to, restaurant, retail store, bathrooms, clubs, elevators, stairwells, corridors, conference rooms, offices, first aid, sensory room and nursing mothers lounge) you must wear a mask unless you are actively eating or drinking.
If you are ticketed into a suite at Nationals Park and you elect to have your suite glass closed you must wear a mask unless actively eating or drinking. If you request to have your suite glass open, you do not need to wear a mask if you are fully vaccinated. Fully vaccinated fans – meaning you are two weeks past your final shot.
Those who do not comply with the mandatory face covering policy will receive a verbal warning followed by potential removal from the ballpark. The safety of our guests is our priority and adherence to the new health and safety policies is non-negotiable.
For fans who are not fully vaccinated, face coverings are required everywhere at Nationals Park and may only be temporarily removed when guests are ACTIVELY eating or drinking within their assigned seating pods. Fully vaccinated fans - meaning you are two weeks past your final shot.
For those required to wear face coverings, they must adequately cover both your nose and mouth.
Permitted face coverings: KN95, N95, Cloth, Surgical/3-Ply and Face Shield (only when accompanied by another approved face covering)
Not Permitted: Bandana, Gaiter and any face covering with an exhalation valve
Children who are age two and older who are unvaccinated must wear a face covering.
GATE TIMES ADJUSTMENT
ALL gates at Nationals Park will now open 90 minutes prior to first pitch.
