An Ordinary Age: Finding your Way in a World That Expects Exceptional by Rainesford Stauffer (288 pages)
Come join your fellow NextGen members on September 1st for the second NextGen Book Club Event! The NextGen Committee has selected “An Ordinary Age" by Rainesford Stauffer as the second book. We are offering the NextGen Book Club to provide opportunities for NextGen members to read books suggested by colleagues on leadership, business, finance, law, and any related topics, and to have open discussions about them. The dates will be picked approximately two months’ ahead of time and the books will generally be 300 pages or less to encourage all members to easily participate. The discussion is not intended to be a pop quiz either, but more of a lighthearted discussion of the book/topic to give us all an opportunity to hear our colleagues' thoughts on certain subjects. In that regard, feel free to bring a drink, and feel free to join even if you haven’t finished the book yet! Bring book ideas with you too! At the end of the event, we will take your suggestions and randomly pick one for our next meeting! Any and all questions can be directed to Alex Porter at firstname.lastname@example.org. We look forward to seeing/hearing from you!
