The deadline to receive a craft kit has now passed. If you have your own materials or are just interested in joining in for networking, please contact Sarah Kuhns at email@example.com to receive the Zoom link.
This is a Members Only Event.
Let's Give Back! We are making homemade art and cards for Patients with Dementia. Family Services of Westchester has been delivering no-cost virtual dementia services so that adults 50+ and their caregivers can feel less isolated. The support includes social stimulation, engaging experiences, case management and teletherapy. Many of the participants are part of My Second Home, the dementia adult day care that has been closed since March 2020 to safeguard vulnerable participants, particularly those with Alzheimer’s and other dementias. TMA NYC will be making cards to help the cause!
The first 40 people who register by September 16th, will be mailed a craft kit to help you make your greeting cards. Don't worry! You can still register and join us even if you don't have a craft kit - you can bring your own supplies or just join us for some networking.
