Professionals Giving Back to the Community: How to participate in non-profit organizations, volunteer and sit on non-profit boards.

Join TMA NOW for an evening of cocktails and conversation with the Hon. Elizabeth Stong, Bankruptcy Judge for the Eastern District of New York, and Ms. Maureen Adolf, Senior Policy Advisor at Eversheds Sutherland, on the topic of giving back to the community through nonprofit organizations. Separate from their busy professional lives, both the Honorable Elizabeth S. Stong and Ms. Adolf donate a great deal of time to non-profit endeavors. Judge Stong is a member of the NYCLA Justice Center Advisory Committee, co-chair of the ABA Business Law Section’s Pro Bono Committee, as well as a former member of the New York City Bar Justice Center’s Board and of the Board of MFY Legal Services. Ms. Adolf is the former Co-Chair of the Financial Women's Association of New York.

Come hear how these women got involved in non-profit work, learn some tips on how you can get started, and the personal and professional benefits of doing so.

Benefits of a TMA Membership

"I've gotten a number of legitimate, 'for sure wouldn't have got the deal but for TMA' deals over the years."
