TMA Florida is proud to host Lieutenant General (Ret.) Michael Linnington. Attendees will receive real life immersion into military leadership principals and how similar they are to business leadership and how that helped him save Wounded Warrior Project and you can use these principals to lead.  His presentation and interview with Judge Jacob Brown, will followed by a networking reception of a broad audience of Jacksonville, Florida and Regional professionals and executives.

The Turnaround Management Association (TMA) is a professional organization dedicated to strengthening the world economy through corporate renewal and corporate health space. Established in 1988, TMA has almost 10,000 members in 54 chapters worldwide, including Florida. Members include consultants, lenders, investors, attorneys, accountants, advisors, appraisers, as well as academic, government employees, and members of the judiciary.

Lieutenant General (Ret.) Michael Linnington served 35 years in the United States Army, following graduation from West Point in 1980.

Over that time, he held key command and staff positions worldwide, including command of the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division from 2002-2004, which included combat operations both in Iraq and Afghanistan.  From 2009-2011 in Afghanistan, Linnington served as Chief for all military plans country wide. 

Following his retirement, Lieutenant General Linnington joined Wounded Warrior Project as chief executive officer in 2016, leading a team across the country in fulfillment of their mission to honor and empower wounded warriors.
