Extend and Pretend: Distressed Investing Opportunities for Deferred Obligations Created by Covid Relief

After a year plus of COVID related lockdowns where the financial markets have been thrown into confusion by our inability to predict the path forward, TMA-NYC has assembled a group of distinguished panelists who will discuss opportunities for investors coming out of this period.  What will happen to commercial real estate after a year of rent deferrals come due?  Will motion picture theaters, cruise lines hospitality, and airlines be able to recover after the capital markets have seemingly provided them with unlimited capital to get through this period?  And will this unprecedented fiscal stimulus finally lead to the inflation which has up until now been a distant memory?

Our panelists will consider the opportunities and uncertainties associated with these factors on the uncertain distressed investing environment ahead of us. This program qualifies for 1.5 CTP and 1.5 CPE. 1.0 CLE Pending. Click for presentation materials.
