TMA Town Hall: Bankruptcy 101, presented by TMA Chicago/Midwest

Join us on Wednesday, September 2, for our next TMA Town Hall: Leading Through Crisis. This biweekly webcast provides a forum for our members to discuss timely information and global developments in the turnaround and restructuring industry.

About the Program

Most prognosticators are predicting that there will be an increase in chapter 11 bankruptcies in the lower and middle market after the government stimulus programs come to an end. How does bankruptcy work? What happens if my counterparty files for bankruptcy? How do I mitigate counterparty risk? Do I get to keep control of my company if it files for chapter 11 bankruptcy? Please join us for "Bankruptcy 101," an introduction to the Bankruptcy Code.  Harold Israel of Levenfeld Pearlstein, LLC and Chris Ciannella of Grant Thornton will provide a high level summary of the Bankruptcy Code from a legal and financial perspective.  Whether you need a refresher or have no bankruptcy knowledge, please join us to learn the core concepts and impacts of bankruptcy.
