Ring in the new year with 31 days of fitness and a bit of healthy competition! Sign up, download the Strava app, get active and earn steps. At the end of the month, prizes will be awarded to our most active TMA members.
#TMAFIT is open to all TMA members. The cost to register is $10+HST (members of TMA Toronto Sponsors can use TMA Bucks) and you will need to download the Strava Tracker app to participate. A private URL will be provided to all members who register.
Earn steps every time you exercise or participate in a wide variety of activities. Thanks to our tracking app, there is a universal converter to compare walking the dog vs. Peloton sprints vs. an hour of cross-country skiing. Link the app to your wearable fitness tracker and it will be automatically logged in the app. There will also be opportunities to earn bonus steps throughout the month to help you get ahead of your peers!
We know that TMA is a community which thrives on competition, by logging your steps and activities you’ll be able to participate in our overall steps challenge as well as bonus challenges that may be introduced during the 31 day event. Track your progress on the leaderboard and compare your results directly to your friends. Make it interactive and use the social discussion boards to provide encouragement or carry on a competitive discourse with other challengers.
Then join all the competitors in early February for a virtual celebration of your accomplishments and an awards ceremony.
Registration will run from now through January 30th. Once you’ve registered, further details will be provided on how to download and use the Strava Tracker app.
