USBC EDNY Pro Bono Initiative Recruitment Program hosted in collaboration with Nassau Suffolk Law Services and the Consumer Bankruptcy Project
TMA Long Island is hosting a complimentary virtual recruitment and informational program for attorneys interested in participating in the new USBC EDNY Pro Bono panel primarily focused on serving Long Island on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 5:00PM EST.
Attorneys selected to be on the panel will have the opportunity to provide assistance on a pro bono basis in various bankruptcy matters before the USBC EDNY (Brooklyn and Central Islip, with a focus on Central Islip), including chapter 13 cases, adversary proceedings, and loss mitigation.
Attorneys who attend this program on June 22nd will have an opportunity to hear from the Bankruptcy Judges and certain local legal service providers about the opportunities and benefits of pro bono service in this area, and to learn more about the application process. During this event, attendees will enjoy networking followed by these presentations.
