New Conferences and Longtime Favorites Keep TMA Vital and Vibrant

From Crisis to Clarity

The diversity of opportunity through TMA cannot be overemphasized. Having kicked off the year with a record-breaking and defining Distressed Investing Conference, we now move into spring and the start of regional conference opportunities and inaugural programs that continue to keep our actionable organization vital and vibrant.

This year, as in years past, our regional conferences bring together opportunities to experience education and networking supported by groups of chapters within a region, each of which offers a unique flavor. In March the season kicked off with the MidAmerica Regional Conference, held in Minneapolis, bringing together the best of the Midwest chapters in a longstanding tradition that continues to attract participants from throughout North America and beyond.

This year, in addition to the MARC, our TMA Indiana and Southern Ohio/Northern Kentucky Chapters will launch an inaugural networking program that will for the first time formally bring these two geographically close chapters together, enhancing yet another networking opportunity within the Midwest.

TMA Florida, one of our fastest-growing chapters, will host its statewide conference, which has grown to be defining for its unique programming, outstanding keynote speakers, and bar none, some of the best networking fun systemwide. The choice of Daytona Beach and an event at the storied raceway is a story of creativity and marquis networking at its finest.

Last year our Rocky Mountain Chapter, five states strong, expanded into New Mexico with an inaugural program, for which the chapter won an award for most innovative programming. No doubt, this year they will duplicate Rocky Mountain magic as they team up with TMA Arizona for a joint chapter retreat in Arizona in May.

Two TMA member favorites and longest-standing conferences, the TMA Southwest Regional, to be held in San Antonio, and the Mid-Atlantic Regional Symposium, to be held in Atlantic City, New Jersey, showcase every aspect of regional excellence, and year in and year out, continue to attract hundreds of members from throughout TMA Nation.

The summer extravaganza, two days of pure networking co-hosted by TMA Northern California and Southern California, this year to be held in Santa Barbara, is a retreat that shows how we connect, network, and just spend good old connect, reconnect, and make new connections time with each other.

Of course, in addition to these and many other regional options, including the Southeast Regional Conference, Northeast Regional Conference, and Great Lakes Conference, there are global opportunities to be a part of too.

Our Network of Women will bring the women of TMA to the Big Apple in May in what is always a defining and empowering gathering, and then this summer in Chicago, our TMA NextGen Leadership Conference comes to life in what is also a marquis event supporting the next generation of growth and opportunity for our up-and-coming professionals through TMA.

This year, we launch an inaugural International Symposium and, joining forces with TMA Europe, will for the first time bring members from North America and Europe together for two days of education, thought leadership, and networking in a first-of-its-kind experience in Hamburg, Germany.

All roads lead to TMA Annual and this year, TMA’s 35th Anniversary and Hall of Fame Year will round out this conference season on a high note.

Being a part of something bigger has never meant more at TMA. We do not rest on our laurels. Beyond the great optionality we already boast, we continue to create more.

This is what keeps us viable and vibrant. But more importantly, this is how we stand better together, grow together, and are a part of something bigger that makes us all TMA Proud!
