Making the Transition from CTA to CTP

You’ve done the hard work – completing 4 years of leadership in the turnaround industry.

Making the transition from a Certified Turnaround Analyst to a Certified Turnaround Professional is simple. You do not need to resubmit anything we already collected from your CTA application or retake the exams.

Required documents:

REQUIREMENTS

CTAs and CTPs are held to the same professional standards and the TMA Code of Ethics. CTPs are required to complete 30 continuing professional education hours every two years (CTAs require 20 hours), including 2 hours of ethics.

Each month the Standards Subcommittee, a sub-section of the Certification Oversight Committee, reviews and discusses applications. Once your portfolio is complete it will be reviewed at the next Standards Subcommittee meeting. The Certification Department will notify you of a decision when it is available.

You may submit documents or ask questions to certification@turnaround.org.
