Volunteering allows you to bring your entire self to TMA – your emotional connection to the work, commitment to the overall sector, life experience, skills, and intellect. Serving on a TMA board or committee will help you forge deeper connections with your peers and the corporate restructuring community. Volunteering is an enriching way to give back to the profession, the organization, and the next generation of turnaround professionals.

Local
Most TMA members start by getting involved at the chapter level. Connect with your chapter to express your interest in serving on a committee or board.

Global
TMA seeks volunteers each summer during its nominations process. During the nominations process you can raise your hand to serve on the TMA Global Board of Trustees or a TMA Global committee by completing the nominations and committee volunteer form. The nominations period is announced each year in TMA’s newsletter the Weekly Report and via TMA’s LinkedIn page.

Speaking or Writing
TMA is always interested in hearing from members who wish to share their subject matter expertise by speaking or write articles. If you are interested in contributing as a speaker or author, please complete the Call for Subject Matter Experts, which is open year-round.

Should you be tapped to speak at an event or contribute an article, you’ll be showcasing your expertise to the entire TMA community and establishing yourself as a name to know in the industry.
