Dear TMANE Members,
On behalf of the officers and the entire Board of Directors, welcome to Turnaround Management Association Northeast Chapter (“TMANE”). As we build on our strong history, we look forward to further growth and development in 2019. TMANE continues to be a dynamic organization that exists to serve our membership
We would like to thank Ed Schatz from Capstone Headwaters for the great job he did as President of TMANE in 2018. We also express our gratitude to the entire 2018 Board of Directors for their hard work and to all of our sponsors, without whom TMANE would not be what it is today. Special thanks to our Executive Director, Marie Shirley, who keeps TMANE on track and always moving forward.
We are proud to be a part of Turnaround Management Association (TMA), a global non-profit organization comprised of turnaround and corporate renewal professionals with over 9,000 members in 49 chapters, including 32 in North America. TMANE is a professional group that seeks to strengthen the financial community by working to save distressed businesses, to assist management to navigate off-plan events, and to help healthy companies avoid similar pitfalls and improve their performance.
TMANE asks that you get involved by attending our educational, networking, and social events and participating in our social media networks. Our NextGen group is focused on networking events for younger professionals and the TMA NOW (Network of Women) is focused on networking for women professionals. We are also proud to continue the important work supported by our charitable golf event, which raises funds for the worthy causes to which TMANE donates.
This year we look forward to building on our continued successes. Please do not hesitate to contact me, anyone else on our board, or Marie Shirley with any questions. Keep in touch with us on our website, https://turnaround.org/northeast, join our LinkedIn group, or follow us on Twitter.
We look forward to working with you and for you in the upcoming year.
